After such a brilliant start by the batsmen and a mind blowing performance by the spinners, in the group A match Zimbabwe finally managed to crush the Canadian team, with a margin of 175 runs. Since the beginning the batsmen of the Canada team were looking like completely inexperienced in front of the spin bowling of the opponents. As a result the whole team was out for just 123 runs.
Left spinner Raymond Price and leg spinner Griag Cremer who took three wickets each crushed the Canadian dream of victory.
