Facts About Pushkar




Come to Pushkar, one of the most sacred cities of India. Famous for its temples (especially Brahma temple), Pushkar lake and world famous Pushkar Camel Fair, this city is definitely a must visit while traveling in India. Here are some of the basic facts about the city.

Location: Ajmer district in Rajasthan

Highlight: Brahma temples located on the banks of Pushkar lake. Also the annual Cattle fair (organized in the month of November).

How to reach:

AIR - The nearest airport is Jaipur from where one can take flights for Delhi and Mumbai.

ROAD - Pushkar is connected to Ajmer by road. Jeeps and taxis are also available.

RAIL - Ajmer is the nearest railway station from where one can take trains for the major destination of India.
