World Cup's first ever fastest century by Kevin O'Brien, finally led his team to their maiden victory. With this win the Ireland team also broke the old jinx of defeating the English team. This miracle was seen in yesterday's match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Since the beginning it was looking really impossible for the Irish team to chase a big score of 328 runs, but with the brilliant inning of O'Brien this became possible.
From the starting the England bowling line up was dominating the opponents. But as soon Kevin came on field all their hopes were crashed. Claiming a 3 wickets win over England, the Ireland team proved that they are still in the competition.
Final Scorecard:
England: 327-8 (50)
Ireland: 329-7 (49.1), Kevin O'Brien was Man of the Match (113 runs form just 63 balls)
